Escort interpretation refers to interpretation that is delivered by an interpreter who accompanies clients throughout a contracted schedule.
For example, when heads of state, celebrities or high-ranking government officials visit a foreign country, interpreters often escort them from arrival to departure. More commonly, in escort interpretation, an interpreter accompanies foreign businesspeople or business inspection teams in Korea or Korean businesspeople on overseas business trips.
